Job Title: Analyst II – Finance Shared Services
Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai
Role Purpose: As Analyst II – Finance Shared Services Treasury, you will be responsible for managing an organization's /client’s cash, liquidity, investments and financial risks, focusing on daily cash positioning, forecasting, bank relations, payment processing and ensuring sufficient funds available for operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, requiring analytical skills and proficiency with MS Office, ERP financials e.g. MS Dynamics, SAP, Oracle etc. and reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Cash & Liquidity Management: Monitor daily cash, cash flow, manage bank accounts and ensure adequate funds are available for operational needs.
• Financial Reporting: Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports on cash flow and investments for senior management and conducting variance analysis between forecasts and actual results, bank reconciliations and support audit processes.
• Risk Management: Helping to identify, monitor and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate exposures and supporting the execution of hedging strategies.
• Investment Management: Manage and invest surplus cash, prioritizing liquidity and return.
• Bank & Relationship Management: Assisting with managing bank accounts (openings, closings, signatory updates, KYC), reconciling bank statements and coordinating with banks to resolve issues.
• Receipts and Payment Processing: Apply customer collections and vendor payments to accounts Execute and manage electronic payments (ACH, Wires) and collections.
•Compliance and Audits: Ensuring all treasury activities comply with internal controls, policies, and external regulations, mainly FEMA compliance with respect to Softex filing etc. and preparing documentation for internal and external auditors.
•Process Improvement: Utilizing ERP Accounting and other financial software to enhance efficiency and automate processes.
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
•Education: B.Com., M.Com., MBA Finance, CA (Inter)
•Skills: Analytical, mathematical, communication, Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are critical.
•Attributes: Integrity, ability to work under deadlines, focus, collaborative spirit.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
· Experience in a multinational or shared services environment.
· Knowledge of FEMA regulations and Softex filing requirements.
· Exposure to treasury management systems and financial process automation initiatives.
· Understanding of investment management and short-term cash investment practices.
· Experience supporting internal and external audits.
