Position Overview
MAY Management is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of one of our residential communities. This part-time position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, works well independently, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for residents and guests. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organized, and capable of completing daily cleaning responsibilities efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities
- Professional and dependable work ethic
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to safely handle cleaning products and equipment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, fitness centers, clubhouses, and other community amenities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and restroom products as needed
- Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the property
- Report maintenance concerns or safety hazards to management
- Assist with setup and cleanup for community events when needed
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure proper storage of supplies
- Follow established safety and sanitation procedures
- Help maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness standards of the community
Schedule
- Part-time position
- Approximately 26 hours per week
- Schedule may include mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends based on community needs
