On-site: 266 S Hobble Creek Canyon Rd, Springville UT, 84663
Part-time Schedule: 24 hours per week
- Sunday and Monday
- 8:30am - 8:30pm
Embark at Springville is seeking a part‑time Nurse to support adolescent girls (ages 12–17) in a trauma‑informed residential treatment setting. In this role, you’ll provide medical assessment, medication management, and ongoing health monitoring while collaborating closely with therapists and direct‑care staff to ensure safe, integrated care. You’ll help students navigate daily routines, reinforce healthy habits, and contribute to a supportive, family‑style environment focused on stabilization, emotional regulation, and long‑term healing.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive nursing care: Provide routine and emergent medical care, ensuring timely, developmentally appropriate support for residents.
- Medication management: Administer and document medications accurately, including controlled substances, in accordance with policy and licensing standards.
- Health assessments: Complete timely assessments and monitor vital signs, weight, mood, and behavior to identify changes in health or safety.
- Medical coordination: Coordinate lab work, manage outside provider communication, and accompany residents to medical appointments as needed.
- Clinical communication: Share relevant medical updates with parents, the Nursing Director, and the Treatment Team to support integrated care.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration: Work closely with therapists and psychiatric providers to align medical care with treatment plans.
- HIPAA compliance: Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold all privacy and compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Active RN/LPN License
- Experience treating patients in mental health, behavioral health, or a related psych setting.
- Experience treating adolescents.
- Strong clinical skills including assessments, medication management, and monitoring vitals.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check.
