Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Colton, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government human services location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and provide courteous customer service to visitors and staff. Bring strong communication skills, professionalism, and integrity while working with a reliable team that puts people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public at a government human services location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining a professional presence while supporting an orderly environment.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
