Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and develop knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to financial crimes, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Regulation E.

  • Conduct investigations involving suspected fraud, including gathering and reviewing information related to subjects, victims, transactions, and potential witnesses.
  • Document investigative findings and resolve fraud and suspicious activity cases in accordance with established procedures and escalation requirements.
  • Prepare case documentation and supporting information for Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and assist with regulatory reporting as assigned.
  • Monitor fraud detection systems and identify trends, patterns, and emerging fraud concerns. Escalate significant findings and recommendations to leadership.
