Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a practical, detail-oriented Maintenance Support Planner - Onshore to support the safe, efficient, and reliable execution of maintenance and project-related work across our onshore oil and gas operations. This 12-month contract role is responsible for maintaining short- and medium-term schedules, coordinating planning meetings, tracking schedule readiness, and ensuring work is appropriately prioritised, resourced, and executable.

Working closely with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Projects, Logistics, HSE, and external contractors, this role plays a key part in driving planning discipline, schedule visibility, and cross-functional alignment. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with planning systems and data, proactively identifying schedule risks, and supporting the delivery of maintenance, campaign, and shutdown activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the 2-Week Schedule to ensure work is planned, prioritised, resource-loaded, and executable.
  • Coordinate and facilitate 28-Day Planning Meetings, ensuring readiness reviews are completed for materials, work packs, MOCs, HAZIDs, resources, and logistics. Maintain and update the 28-Day Plan.
  • Liaise with engineering team / engineering planner to confirm project scope, engineering deliverables, and overall project readiness for execution into 90 day plan.
  • Coordinate and facilitate 90-Day Planning Meetings, ensuring long-term work scopes are reviewed for material readiness, work pack development, MOC requirements, HAZID completion, and resource availability. Maintain and update the 90-Day Plan.
  • Act as the custodian of 28-Day and 90-Day KPI reporting, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and timely distribution to stakeholders.
  • Maintain scheduling and planning data within SAP and P6, including system administration, data quality management, and reporting support.
  • Produce and maintain Break-In Reports, highlighting schedule intrusions, emerging priorities, and key issues impacting planned work execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify schedule risks, resource constraints, and opportunities to optimise work execution and efficiency.
  • Support WNA campaigns by coordinating resource requirements, vessel availability, and helicopter (HELO) alignment to ensure successful campaign delivery.
  • Support Shutdown (SD) planning activities, assisting with the integration of pre-shutdown work scopes into the schedule to maximise shutdown efficiency and increase the likelihood of successful execution.
  • Facilitate alignment between maintenance, operations, projects, engineering, and logistics teams to achieve planning and execution objectives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or TEE equivalent required; relevant trade, technical, planning, engineering, or maintenance qualification considered an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or maintenance support, preferably within oil and gas, resources, or heavy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling processes, including schedule readiness, resource planning, work packs, and KPI reporting.
  • Experience using SAP for maintenance planning and reporting; experience with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software considered desirable.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, Projects, Logistics, and HSE.
  • Sound understanding of safety, risk management, and operational readiness requirements, including MOC, HAZID, permit-to-work, materials readiness, and logistics considerations.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive wage.
  • Development in multidisciplinary team.
