Job Description:

The Assistant Director is responsible for leading and coordinating Patient Access functions across the system.  This includes maintaining knowledge of industry practices and requirements to lead the teams in building and maintaining effective and efficient workflows that maximize performance for the organization and service excellence for our consumers.   The Assistant Director must ensure alignment and effective coordination across teams and other departments while also ensuring alignment with Revenue Cycle and Organizational goals and objectives. The Assistant Director must be proactive in monitoring and analyzing performance data to maintain awareness and drive ongoing improvement and recognition activities.  Must work effectively with all levels of the organization, including physicians and other leaders across the system while demonstrating a spirit of collaboration and open lines of communication.Education: ▪ Required: High School diploma or equivalent ▪ Preferred: Bachelors in a related field Experience: ▪ Required: 3-5 years related experience; at least 2 years must be in previous healthcare revenue cycle/business management. Skills: • Excellent written and verbal communication • Strong leadership, coaching and conflict resolution • Good judgement with effective problem-solving ability • Effective at building relationships and fostering collaboration • Effective organization, time and project management • Strong analytical ability to assess and understand trends in data and evaluate effectiveness of workflows • Ability to research and interpret payer and regulatory requirements; and translate impact to team and workflows • Budget development and management • Proficient computer skills Licensure/Certification/Registration: ▪ Preferred: Industry certification such as CRCR, CHFP, CHAM or other relevant certification
