Description

Description

Camp is calling. This isn't just a summer job, it's a mission.

Spend your summer telling the story of Timber-lee one frame at a time. As a Photographer, you'll capture daily camp life, shoot weekly cabin photos, and build the visual record that campers and families keep long after the summer ends.

If you're looking for something that actually matters, not just a paycheck, this is it.

What You'll Do

  • Photograph daily camp life, programs, and activities
  • Take and print weekly camper cabin photos
  • Ensure balanced coverage of all cabins and departments
  • Edit, organize, and upload daily photo albums for web, social media, and marketing
  • Coordinate with program leaders to schedule photo opportunities
  • Collaborate with the media team on content planning
  • Assist with camper arrival and departure on weekends
  • Participate in camp activities planned by the Recreation and Ministry Departments, primarily after dinner hours

What You Get

  • $7.25/hour + housing and meals included
  • A summer of daily shooting and a portfolio to show for it
  • Live on-site with a built-in community
  • Hands-on experience with capture, editing, and delivering on a daily turnaround
  • A summer that impacts lives, including your own

Important Role Details

  • This is a live-in, residential role
  • Requires active participation in a Christian ministry environment

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • A professing Christian with a personal faith
  • Demonstrated ability with still photography using a DSLR camera
  • Comfortable with Mac photo software, specifically Adobe Lightroom
  • Strong organizational skills for managing, sorting, and uploading high volumes of images
  • Able to work on a daily turnaround and deliver consistently
  • Interest in working with youth
  • Willingness to be fully engaged in a live-in summer camp environment

Physical Requirements

  • Physically able to take part in camp activities to capture photos, including at the waterfront, ranch, and challenge course
  • Able to carry camera gear for extended periods
  • Able to work outdoors in hot and humid conditions

Summer Schedule

  • Staff Training: June 1 – June 12
  • Camp Sessions: June 13 – August 7

Why This Role Matters

You'll spend the summer shooting every single day, which will make you better faster than any class could. You'll also be the reason a parent 300 miles away gets to see their kid laughing at dinner, and the reason a camper still has the cabin photo on their wall years from now. That's a summer worth having.

If you've got an eye for storytelling, love capturing candid joy, and thrive in a fast-paced creative setting, this is your shot.

Additional Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older
  • Employment is contingent on background and reference checks
