Position Overview:
The Fleet Contracts Attorney is responsible for administering and coordinating the Company's aircraft leasing, procurement, disposition, and related commercial agreements. The role supports fleet transactions by managing contract documentation, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, monitoring contractual obligations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. This person will report to the General Counsel with a dotted line to the Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer.
Responsibilities Include:
Administer aircraft lease agreements, including renewals, amendments, extensions, assignments, returns, and terminations.
Prepare, review, and coordinate documentation related to aircraft acquisitions, dispositions, leases, and other fleet transactions.
Serve as the primary coordinator between Legal, Finance, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and external counterparties throughout the contract lifecycle.
Track key contractual obligations, milestones, notice periods, delivery schedules, return conditions, maintenance reserve requirements, and other critical dates.
Maintain accurate records of fleet agreements and transaction documentation.
Coordinate execution of contracts and ensure all required approvals are obtained.
Monitor contract compliance and escalate potential contractual risks or issues to management.
Support due diligence activities for aircraft transactions by collecting and organizing required documentation.
Prepare contract summaries, reports, and transaction status updates for leadership.
Ensure fleet contract documentation complies with company policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation, Legal Studies, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in contract administration, commercial agreements, procurement, aviation, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating complex commercial contracts involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and document management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and contract management systems.
- This position is designated Safety Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with aircraft leasing, procurement, or asset transactions.
- Familiarity with aviation commercial agreements and FAA-related documentation.
- Experience working with corporate legal departments or outside counsel.
