Description
Our client is a rapidly growing financial technology company operating in a highly regulated environment. Following significant regulatory and organizational developments, the company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer to lead and continue building its enterprise compliance program.
Reporting to senior executive leadership and working closely with the Board, the Chief Compliance Officer will be responsible for the overall compliance framework, regulatory engagement, governance, policies, procedures, monitoring, and compliance risk management activities across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and evolve the enterprise compliance program
- Serve as a primary point of contact with regulatory agencies and examiners
- Advise executive leadership and the Board on compliance, regulatory, and governance matters
- Oversee compliance monitoring, testing, risk assessments, and reporting
- Ensure compliance programs remain aligned with evolving regulatory expectations
- Build and develop high-performing compliance teams
The ideal candidate will bring senior compliance leadership experience within regulated financial services, fintech, digital assets, banking, trust, payments, lending, or related environments. Experience interacting directly with regulators, executive leadership teams, and Boards of Directors is highly desirable.
