Your Role:
- Responsibility for development projects in the field of measurement technology for the semiconductor industry
- Leading projects in the field of electron microscopy and wafer-based particle beam inspection
- Setting up a cross-site project organisation and establishing structures and interfaces for efficient collaboration between all project partners
- Providing technical leadership to a team of scientists, engineers and system integrators
- Co-ordinating project tasks; facilitating meetings to resolve problems and conflicts
- Establishing collaborations with internal ZEISS expert groups, external suppliers and development partners, and managing these collaborations
- Preparing status reports, results and plans for projects or sub-projects for management or external partners, and communicating these reports in presentations
Your Profile:
- A first-class degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering or a comparable discipline, and practical experience in hardware development
- Experience in leading product development projects, as well as excellent project management skills
- Experience in setting up and leading cross-site project organisations, as well as in managing interdisciplinary and international teams
- Experience in the semiconductor industry or electron microscopy; ideally, knowledge of wafer inspection
- Ability to build a strong team, motivate project staff and resolve conflicts
- An independent and structured approach to work, a high level of commitment and willingness to take on responsibility, as well as a keen eye for the essentials
- Very good communication skills, as well as excellent written and spoken German and English
