Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Assistance in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, and report unusual activity, damaged property, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and documenting observations.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications to support daily operations at a logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
