Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions.Every day you will prepare patients for scans, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment, and accurately capture detailed anatomical images.To be successful, you will demonstrate expert technical proficiency in MRI, meticulous attention to detail for image quality and safety, and excellent patient communication to ensure a comfortable and effective diagnostic experience.- Understands the concept of all mammography related equipment
- Responsible for maintaining ACR/FDA/MQSA continuing medical education and minimum 200 mammograms/2 years
- Communicate with Technologist Coordinator when a unit is down or repairs are needed
- Manage documentation, data entry and charges for all breast procedures in EPIC
- Assists with Breast Cancer Conference materials for the radiologist
- Participates in orientation and training of new employees, students and others as appropriate
Job Requirements
Required- High School Graduate and 1-3 years 1 year experience under radiologists supervision, upon hire or
- High School GED and 1-3 years 1 year experience under radiologists supervision, upon hire
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire and
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
