Zeiss SMT is seeking a Frontline Process Engineer (m/f/x) at its Oberkochen location.

Your Role

• Analysis of existing manufacturing processes through direct observation, experimentation, and key performance indicators
• Implementation of improvement measures regarding time, cost, and quality
• Technical oversight of an entire value stream segment
• Active shaping of manufacturing ramp-ups in collaboration with R&D
• Technical assessment and resolution of customer complaints
  

Your Profile

• Excellent university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable STEM field
• Several years of experience in the evaluation, analysis, and optimization of complex manufacturing processes
• Experience in applying problem-solving methodologies (8D, PDCA, Six Sigma)
• Enthusiasm for working with complex technical systems — Strong team spirit — Good command of spoken and written English, fluent German
