The Digital Fundraising Campaign Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the execution of multi-platform campaign efforts across our core revenue programs including THIRTEEN, WLIW, ALL ARTS, and NATURE, as well as supporting virtual events and special digital fundraising initiatives.

The Specialist will assist with EveryAction platform support, including platform hygiene, data integrity, campaign setup, and reporting activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Digital Marketing and Fundraising: Support the development and execution of multi-channel digital fundraising campaigns designed to increase revenue and educate the WNET online community about the importance of supporting public media. Contribute ideas and recommendations based on campaign performance, audience behavior, and digital fundraising practices.

  • Campaign Execution: Coordinate campaign activities across email, web, social media, and other digital channels, helping to ensure campaigns are accurate, timely, appropriately targeted, and aligned with established fundraising goals and messaging.

  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal partners, Development Operations, and external digital direct response vendors on list segmentation, source coding, campaign execution, testing, and analytic report development.

  • Revenue: Support digital fundraising campaigns across WNET’s core revenue programs, contributing to established revenue and engagement goals.

  • EveryAction Support: Assist with day-to-day EveryAction activities, including campaign setup, data hygiene, reporting, troubleshooting, and supporting staff users as needed.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze campaign performance, prepare reports, identify trends and insights, and recommend opportunities to improve future campaign performance.

  • Production Support: Write, edit, build, test, and deploy digital fundraising communications across multiple channels, following established brand, quality, and production standards.

  • Content Development: Draft and edit fundraising and promotional content for email, web, social media, and other digital channels, adapting messaging for different audiences and campaign objectives;

  • Professional Development: Continue to develop proficiency in Salesforce, EveryAction, digital fundraising tools, and emerging industry practices, applying new knowledge to campaign execution and team processes;

  • Additional responsibilities, as assigned.

Qualified candidates will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, external partners, vendors, and other stakeholders across written, virtual, and in-person communications. In addition, candidates will have demonstrated problem solving skills, strong organizational skills, an excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while coordinating workflows in a deadline-driven and service-focused environment. Candidates will also bring curiosity and a willingness to build expertise in digital fundraising platforms and emerging technologies. Additional qualifications include:

  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and mobile optimization principles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data management and/or nonprofit membership or constituent databases.

  • Knowledge of A/B testing and digital campaign design best practices, including email and landing-page design.

  • Knowledge of audience segmentation, dynamic content, and testing methodologies.

  • Understanding of CAN-SPAM, permission marketing requirements, and related best practices.

  • Experience using campaign performance data and metrics to inform email and digital campaign strategies.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or comparable content creation and design tools.
