Step into the heart of our hotel’s financial engine as Controller. In this key Executive Committee role, you’ll lead budgeting, forecasting, profit and loss reporting, and month-end processes while overseeing audits, payroll, AP/AR, and tax compliance. With a strong focus on financial controls, accuracy, and profitability, you’ll help drive the hotel’s success with the support of a great team.

KEY SKILLS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Leadership & Performance
- Lead daily financial operations, including reporting, payroll, AP/AR, cash management, and audits
- Oversee month-end close, profit analysis, and variance reporting
- Develop budgets, forecasts, and annual operating plans with department leaders
- Ensure the accuracy of financial statements and monthly forecasts
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability
Compliance, Controls & Risk
- Maintain strong financial controls to protect assets and sensitive data
- Manage tax collection, posting, reconciliation, and banking activities accurately
- Ensure compliance with reporting standards and documentation requirements
- Conduct regular balance sheet reviews to reduce risk and improve accuracy
- Support audit readiness and operational integrity across the hotel
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members for strong performance
- Build effective cross-functional partnerships across departments
- Set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback and accountability
- Promote professionalism, integrity, and ethical leadership
- Foster a collaborative culture that supports hotel performance
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 5+ years of finance leadership experience, ideally in hospitality or a similar industry
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop accounting teams
- Strong communication skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and hotel systems
- Strategic thinker with high integrity and the flexibility to meet business needs
