Summary of Job Duties:

The Clinical Engineering Systems Integration Specialist role is responsible for the seamless planning, integration, and implementation of medical devices and clinical systems within the hospital environment. The ideal candidate will excel at coordinating complex equipment installations, upgrades, relocations, and network integrations to ensure reliable, interoperable technology that supports exceptional patient care.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma plus 5 years of experience in biomed, IT, or related fields

OR

  • Associate’s degree in Biomedical Instrumentation Technology, Biomedical Equipment Technology, Information Technology, or related field plus 3 years of experience in biomed, IT, or related fields

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a healthcare setting

  • Current CBET, CLES, or CRES credential, healthcare, networking, and project management experience.

  • Microsoft .NET, MS SQL, or Oracle experience desirable.


Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration of medical equipment (e.g., anesthesia systems, ESUs, imaging modalities, injectors, and OR tables) with hospital IT and clinical infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with clinical teams, biomeds, IT, facilities, and vendors to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

  • Develop and deliver in-service training for staff on new and upgraded systems.

  • Oversee project timelines and documentation for successful system go-lives.

  • Other duties may be assigned to this position.
