Job Description

As a Transportation Security Officer: Patrol Tablet Reporting in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and clear communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns and working collaboratively with site personnel. Requirements:

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

 

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and airport stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout airport facilities, public areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor assigned areas for unusual conditions, access-control concerns, unattended property, and other security-related issues, reporting observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport personnel, public agencies, and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
