This role will be located in any RBC Caribbean Banking market where the successful candidate resides.
What is the opportunity?
In this role you will provide advice, coaching and support to the Private Banking Sales/Service Professionals within the Caribbean Personal market, to increase sales leaders’ and sales/service professionals skills, knowledge and effectiveness. In addition you will be responsible for embedding and sustaining strategic initiatives and sales management practices to facilitate the delivery of a differentiated client experience to achieve sales plan and develop a best in class sales and sales management team.
What do you need to succeed?
- Provide consistent advice and council to Private Banking Sales/Service Professionals in the implementation and execution of sales management strategy including sales discovery visits, routines, and reporting to maximize sales and service effectiveness.
- Act as a subject matter expert and responsible for training of sales & service tools, reporting, Sales Management Effectiveness, Observational Coaching, Skill Building & Change Management activities
- Identify gaps, best practices, and opportunities at the market, team , sales role/person level, and recommend priorities, sequence, and action plans
- Act as point of integration for market and RBC Caribbean groups, gathering feedback and formalizing a listening post environment to enable the sharing of best practices and emerging trends. Provide updates on key activities and results as required
- Support the integration of RBC Partners in the region to leverage client opportunities and maximize sales result and revenue generation, close business gaps, and improved NPS
- Responsible for identifying, integrating and supporting sales force training to meet sales and service role requirements through utilization of all in-market support i.e. RBC Learning Services,
- Leverage reward and recognition (RBC Performance) and champion sales campaigns and programs to celebrate achievements, focus activities and generate/sustain results
- Successfully execute change and build Sales Leaders skills in change management and prioritization supporting them through proactive communication, issue resolution and effective decision-making
- You are a steward and advocate for new and existing clients, working with the region and partners to deliver an exceptional client experience; with a strong focus on first point of contact resolution and coaching of when and how to escalate and report
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- University degree or equivalent education
- Strong observational coaching, people development, mentoring and implementation skills
- Ability to apply critical thinking, creativity and innovative methods to problem solving
- Strong conceptual & strategic thinker with ability to impact & influence senior leaders & partners
- Proven business and organizational knowledge, planning and implementing capabilities with knowledge/experience across Retail Banking
- 5-7 years of progressive sales leadership experience in Private/Retail Banking
