THE OPPORTUNITY
Define the technical architecture and standards for DevX’s agentic/GenAI platform. You’ll establish reference implementations, solve the most complex technical challenges, and ensure solutions are secure, observable, reproducible, and compliant with Takeda’s AI-SDLC and Responsible AI frameworks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Define reference architectures for agent skills/tools, orchestration, retrieval, and observability; set SLOs for latency, quality, and cost.
- Establish technical standards and design patterns for platform components; create reference implementations.
- Solve the most complex technical challenges across the platform stack independently.
- Make critical technology decisions (framework selection, architecture patterns, performance optimization).
Engineering & Quality
- Build and maintain core platform capabilities with production-grade code quality.
- Establish guardrails (HITL, prompt/version lineage, audit logs, reproducibility) through technical implementation.
- Define and enforce code quality standards, testing strategies, and observability patterns.
Governance & Risk
- Embed Responsible AI controls (data minimization, privacy/PII, bias monitoring) into technical architecture.
- Maintain a comprehensive decision log and technical standards documentation.
Technical Enablement
- Provide technical mentorship and guidance to more junior engineers on complex problems.
- Create developer documentation, runbooks, and reference examples for platform adoption.
- Drive platform thinking and reusability through technical design.
