{A Topline Description of the Role - max 1 sentence} We're seeking A seasoned Vice President in Asset Servicing responsible for shaping the strategic direction, operational excellence, and control framework across Corporate Actions, Income Processing, Claims Management, Reconciliation, and Governance functions.

What you'll do in the role:
- Set the vision for the direction of your team in conjunction with global peer group ensuring consistent execution, strong control framework, business enablement and process adherence within all local regulations
- Take responsibility for talent acquisition, developing a bench of talent, and creating a plan for succession
- Run the operation as a business by considering client service needs, cost effectiveness and the department's automation and efficiency agenda
- Partner directly with peers across Business Units and / or external stakeholders to provide input and execute on strategy and future state of their respective group
- Drive long term strategy for scaling operations, enhancing resilience, and strengthening global operating models.
- Champion standardization, automation, and process optimization across global notification workflows. {D Part 2: Scope of Role What you'll bring}

What you'll bring to the role:
- Can convey trust and confidence to influence stakeholders in the decision-making process to affect strategy and prepared to challenge where necessary
- Sound judgment without compromising control
- Role model that advocates for your team, motivates and engages staff to achieve vision and inspire respect; supports and promotes the Firm's vision and values
- Demonstrated expertise in managing high risk operational functions and leading large global teams
- Proven track record of risk identification, exception management, and governance uplift
- At least 8 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
