Location: Morden
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 5:30pm
Guaranteed Hours: 45 hours per week

About the Role

We're recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Van Driver to join a busy removals company based in Morden. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for delivering excellent customer service while safely transporting household and commercial goods to and from different locations.

No two days are the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys being on the road, working as part of a team and getting stuck into a physically active role.

 

Responsibilities

• Driving a company van to residential and commercial removals across London and the South East
• Loading and unloading furniture, boxes and household items safely
• Working closely with the removals team to complete jobs efficiently
• Protecting customers' belongings during loading, transit and unloading
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Providing a professional and friendly service to customers
• Following health and safety procedures at all times

 

What We're Looking For

• Full UK driving licence
• Previous van driving experience
• Removals or multi-drop experience is desirable but not essential
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Reliable, punctual and hard-working
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
