(BHI) is seeking a Solar Field Engineer to join our team on the Fremont Solar project in Paragonah, UT. A DAY IN THE LIFE
As a Solar Field Engineer on the Fremont Solar project, you will play a critical role in supporting operational organization, project documentation, and field workflows.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Supporting document control, maintaining daily construction reports, and tracking payroll data.
- Assisting with Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) compliance records.
- Utilizing software like Bluebeam, MS Office, and Google Suite to manage project schedules and records.
- Spending regular time on the active construction site learning solar operations and assisting field crews as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proficient in Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Suite.
- Strong organizational, schedule-tracking, and document-control skills.
- Prior experience in solar, electrical, or heavy civil construction projects preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management (or equivalent experience) is a plus.
- Willingness to work onsite in rural project locations (50–60 hrs/week) with moderate travel.
