Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors, managing patient appointments, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a medical setting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain an organized appointment schedule
• Verify patient information and insurance details
• Collect and process patient payments
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff members
• Ensure a clean and organized reception area
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Contract Details:
