Summary:
This position is responsible for the fabrication, installation, modification, and repair of plant equipment and structures. The Maintenance Fabricator Tech supports plant operations by performing welding, fabrication, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities throughout the facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, install, and repair chutes, conveyors, piping, pans, stands, and other plant equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to complete fabrication projects.
• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on a variety of metals.
• Repair and modify production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, water, and steam systems.
• Assist with maintenance activities and support repairs throughout the facility as needed.
• Operate fabrication and maintenance equipment, including welders, cutting tools, drill presses, lathes, milling machines, CNC machines, multimeters, and other shop tools.
• Follow all company safety, food safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications:

• Welding certification from an accredited technical school or recognized welding program, or 3+ years of industrial welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, with the ability to fabricate and repair a variety of equipment and components.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, water, and steam systems.
• Previous manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Internal team members must have less than 7 attendance points and no disciplinary actions within the last 12 months.
