Inside Sales Representative

We have an amazing opportunity to join an exciting and innovative team as an Inside Sales Representative. This role combines inside sales and customer service to sell products, services and solutions to new and existing customers.

Job Summary

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will combine customer service excellence, technical curiosity, and commercial thinking to manage and grow relationships across a varied customer base. You’ll support customers through every step of the process from enquiry to delivery, while identifying solutions and opportunities that strengthen Avnet Silica’s market position. Your work will directly influence revenue growth, customer satisfaction.

What will you be doing?

• Provide solutions-oriented customer support using sound judgement and established sales methodologies.
• Manage inbound and outbound enquiries, promoting Avnet’s offerings, services, and capabilities.
• Oversee the full sales cycle — from first initial contact to fulfilment, ensuring customer requirements are met or exceeded.
• Grow relationships with existing accounts through proactive communication, project understanding, and pipeline awareness.
• Collaborate closely with product management, materials teams, field sales, and suppliers to deliver best-in-class solutions.
• Create accurate quotations, pricing information, product guidance, and end‑to‑end support.
• Coordinate customer needs across inventory, lead times, and pricing.
• Support team initiatives, special projects, and continuous improvement efforts.

What about you?

• Relevant inside sales or customer service experience advantageous
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with customers quickly.
• High levels of initiative, independence, and problem-solving ability.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to identify new opportunities for growth.
• Experience with SAP/ERP systems would be preferred – training can be provided
• Good Microsoft Skills – Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Fluent in English
• Excellent teamworking skills
