Now Hiring: Service Parts Sales Associate – Louisville, Kentucky
FleetPride is seeking a Heavy-Duty Parts Counter Sales Associate to provide customer service and parts sales support by phone and in person. This role focuses on helping customers identify and obtain the correct heavy-duty parts based on their needs while maintaining profitability and following company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in locating and ordering heavy-duty parts by phone or in person.
- Suggest related parts to support full-service solutions.
- Retrieve parts from central warehouse or branch locations.
- Determine and apply proper pricing according to company guidelines.
- Process warranty and defective part returns.
- Complete approved charge sales and credit transactions.
- Handle emergency special parts orders when necessary.
- Answer customer questions regarding products, pricing, and availability.
- Maintain current product knowledge by reviewing catalogs, price lists, and bulletins.
- Keep counter and display areas clean, organized, and customer-friendly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of sales experience preferred (heavy-duty automotive parts sales a plus).
- Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong skills in active listening, communication, and customer service.
- Time management and organizational ability.
- Persuasive and service-oriented mindset.
Work Environment:
- Inside and outside conditions with possible temperature variation.
- Exposure to dust, vibration, vehicle noise, and minimal chemical hazards.
