GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Deputy Head, Retail Pharmacy & Digital Health supports the Head in executing strategic initiatives, managing operational performance, and driving business growth across retail pharmacy and digital health services. The role focuses on translating strategic direction into operational execution, strengthening retail pharmacy performance, improving customer experience, managing partnerships, and ensuring effective implementation of business initiatives.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Support the Head in developing and implementing Retail Pharmacy & Digital Health strategic plans.
Manage day-to-day operational performance of retail pharmacy outlets and related business activities.
Monitor sales performance, profitability, operational efficiency, and business KPIs.
Lead implementation of retail improvement initiatives including SOP enhancement, service quality improvement, and productivity optimization.
Support development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and customer engagement programmes.
Coordinate with Store Managers/Pharmacists to ensure operational excellence and achievement of targets.
Support digital health initiatives including platform development, customer journey enhancement, and healthcare service integration.
Manage selected strategic partnerships and commercial initiatives.
Analyse business performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
Support workforce planning, training programmes, and team capability development.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, corporate policies, and quality standards.
Act as deputy representative of the division when required.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or related healthcare discipline.
Registered Pharmacist qualification preferred.
Business or healthcare management qualification is an advantage.
Knowledge and Experiences:
5–10 years’ experience in Retail pharmacy operations.
Good understanding of healthcare business management.
Good understanding of Pharmacy regulatory requirements.
Good understanding of Retail sales and commercial management.
Good understanding of Digital health services and healthcare innovation.
