Job Description

As a Security Officer Corporate Plaza Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic commercial real estate location as an unarmed patrol officer, helping to monitor assigned areas through routine patrols, visible presence, and strong customer service. Pay Range: $19.00 - $20.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, lobbies, loading areas, and/or other assigned locations, assisting with visitor direction, credential checks, and reporting of policy-related concerns.
• Support daily property operations by observing site activity, reporting maintenance or life-related concerns, and following post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
