Job Summary
The Manager - Health Process Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and managing training programs for healthcare processes, ensuring employees possess the knowledge and skills required to meet operational, quality, compliance, and customer service objectives. The role involves training needs analysis, curriculum development, stakeholder management, performance coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Training Management
- Lead the end-to-end training function for healthcare operations processes.
- Develop and implement training strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage new hire, refresher, upskilling, and cross-skilling programs.
- Ensure training programs meet operational and client requirements.
Content Development
- Design and update training materials, SOPs, process guides, assessments, and e-learning modules.
- Translate complex healthcare workflows into easy-to-understand training content.
- Maintain training documentation and version control.
Process & Compliance Training
- Deliver training on healthcare processes including:
- Claims Processing
- Provider Services
- Member Services
- Prior Authorization
- Enrollment & Billing
- Medical Coding (where applicable)
- HIPAA and Healthcare Compliance
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and client-specific requirements.
Performance Improvement
- Analyze training effectiveness through assessments, quality scores, and operational KPIs.
- Identify knowledge gaps and implement targeted interventions.
- Partner with Quality and Operations teams to improve employee performance.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality, HR, and Client stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on training metrics and effectiveness.
- Support business transitions and new process implementations.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of trainers.
- Conduct trainer certifications and train-the-trainer sessions.
- Drive a culture of continuous learning and development.
Required Qualifications
- 6-10 years of experience in healthcare operations and training.
- Minimum 2-3 years of people management experience.
- Experience in US Healthcare processes preferred.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
