WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Design, architect, and size complete SAP landscapes, including high-availability configurations and disaster recovery.
Lead greenfield implementations, including SAP RISE deployments, ensuring scalable architecture and alignment with enterprise requirements.
Plan and execute major upgrade projects (e.g., S/4HANA version-to-version upgrades) with minimal business disruption.
Experience in installations of S/4HANA, HANA, and NetWeaver-based systems, applying support packs, kernel patches, plug-ins, and SAP Notes.
Manage complex SAP landscapes in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Build and configure the SAP BTP landscape, including Integration Suite/CPI, SAC, Datasphere/DWC, IAS/IPS, Business Application Studio, and Cloud Connectors.
Configure SSO/MFA integrations across BTP subaccounts with identity providers such as IAS and Okta.
Architect and configure high-availability clusters using SUSE HAWK and Microsoft Failover Cluster Manager, including database mirroring and Always-On configurations.
Administer and tune HANA, MSSQL, and Oracle databases, including patching, upgrades, refreshes, and vulnerability remediation.
Remediate high and critical security vulnerabilities (CVE/CVSS), collaborating with cyber security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure audit readiness.
Configure and maintain Cloud ALM, including technical monitoring, Early Watch reporting, and automated administrative monitoring.
Manage system refreshes, client copies, and transport management across the landscape.
Provide ongoing Basis administration support, performance monitoring and tuning, problem analysis, and resolution to maximize system uptime.
Manage maintenance windows and production changes, including break-fixes, support package updates, kernel updates, parameter changes, and certificate renewals.
Collaborate with development, functional, security, audit, and infrastructure teams, and with vendors, to deliver projects on time and with managed risk.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience, with demonstrated experience in an architect or lead capacity.
Proven experience with full life-cycle SAP implementations and large-scale migrations.
Strong expertise across SAP S/4HANA, ECC, NetWeaver (ABAP/Java), and Solution Manager.
Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services (Integration Suite/CPI, SAC, Datasphere/DWC, IAS/IPS, Cloud Connector).
Strong database administration skills across HANA, MSSQL, and Oracle.
Experience designing and operating high-availability clusters (SUSE HAWK, Windows/Microsoft Failover Cluster Manager).
Hands-on experience with SWPM and SUM for installs, system copies, upgrades, and migrations.
Experience migrating SAP workloads to AWS and/or Azure.
Working knowledge of SAP security and vulnerability remediation (CVE/CVSS), SSO/MFA, and audit/compliance requirements.
Proficiency across SUSE Linux, Red Hat Linux, Windows Server, and AIX operating systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SAP RISE greenfield implementations.
Experience with CPGRC, SAP GTS, GRC, PO/PI, Enterprise Portal, BOBJ, ADS, and SAP LVM/LAMA.
Experience with SAP Signavio and SAP Build.
Familiarity with SAP archiving (SARA) and Data Volume Management (DVM).
Relevant certifications.

In this role, you will be the technical anchor for our SAP platform; delivering resilient architecture, leading high-stakes upgrades and migrations with minimal disruption, keeping systems secure and audit-ready, and enabling development and functional teams to deliver business value on a stable, well-tuned foundation.
Salary Range
The compensation for this position is the range Slate reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; work location; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
Base Pay Range (Annual)
$171,191.48 - $285,319.13 USD Annual

The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in the equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
