Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol in Valdosta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a technology and communications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized entry attempts and/or suspicious activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Document patrol findings, incidents, and policy violations, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
