Position Summary
As the Assembler, you will assemble generator sets and sub-assemblies that include both standard and non-standard product lines. Assemblers will use hand and power tools and following quality and procedural techniques.
What you will be doing
- Perform basic assembly duties using work instructions, drawings, and schematics in designated work areas.
- Recognize obvious defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship and general quality.
- Continuously develop product knowledge and adapt to process changes.
- Crosstrain and assist in multiple assembly areas as needed.
- Follow safety, environmental, and company procedures; contribute to departmental continuous improvement.
Basic Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S without sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Preferred Requirements:
- Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. frequently
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Basic ability to perform repetitive manufacturing tasks.
- Capable of solving practical problems and adapting to changing technology.
Mental & Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently.
