- Location: EMAAR Digital Green, Tower B, Golf Course Road Extension, Sector 61, Gurugram, Haryana – 122011.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and scale an offshore OSP engineering team including CAD designers, GIS technicians, and engineers.
- Manage hiring, onboarding, performance management, and team development.
- Oversee end-to-end OSP design delivery, including aerial and underground fiber layouts, splicing, and construction plans.
- Ensure all deliverables comply with U.S. standards (NESC, NEC) and client specifications.
- Act as the primary liaison between offshore teams and U.S.-based engineering and project management teams.
- Coordinate project workflows, timelines, and multi-project delivery across time zones.
- Establish and enforce quality control processes, review cycles, and performance metrics.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, design standards, and documentation practices.
- Optimize tools and workflows (AutoCAD, GIS, MicroStation, etc.) to improve efficiency and reduce rework.
- Support project tracking, reporting, and communication with internal stakeholders.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in OSP telecom/fiber engineering design.
- Minimum 3+ years in a leadership or team management role.
- Strong expertise in aerial and underground fiber design and FTTx/FTTH architectures.
- Proven experience working with U.S. telecom standards, client specifications, and permitting requirements.
- Experience managing offshore or distributed engineering teams.
- Proficiency in OSP design tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS platforms, Katapult Pro or similar).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken), with experience collaborating across cultures.
