Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme (“MRC”) for Hong Kong

The Mandatory Reference Checking Scheme is a framework to facilitate Authorized Institutions (“AIs”) to bilaterally obtain reference information during their recruitment process for certain positions, such that misconduct information in an individual’s previous employments can be provided to AIs to inform their employment decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage daily transaction processing of Faster Payment system and Remittance operations.
• Act as SME to provide support to FPS and Remittance related projects.
• Handle exception case of Faster Payment and Remittance transactions.
• Manage and supervise staff members of the FPS and Remittance team.
• Undertake operational control and efficiency review.
• Propose opportunity to improve operational efficiency and control.
• Ensure all staff comply with remittance related regulatory requirements.
• Establish operation procedures and internal control polices.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc management report.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education or above is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of banking experience with at least 3 years’ experience in payment operations is preferred.
• Well understanding of FPS and Remittance products and operations.
• Good knowledge of Project Management and Business Analysis skills.
• Good knowledge of payment industry trend and market knowledge.
• Familiar with regulatory requirements such as AML Compliance on payment.

• Proficient in MS Office;

• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
