About the location:

The Stewarding Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and smooth operation of the culinary and food & beverage departments. This position is responsible for cleaning all kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and kitchen areas in accordance with Four Seasons and health and safety standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically fit, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness in a luxury hospitality environment.
Supportive Functions
Assist culinary team with basic cleaning and organizational tasks during busy periods.
Report any maintenance or safety issues immediately to supervisors.
Assist with setup and cleanup for banquet events and staff meals.
Participate in training and cross-departmental support as required.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods up to 10 hours.
Frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 20 kg.
Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, and use cleaning equipment regularly.
Work in environments with heat, humidity, and exposure to cleaning chemicals.
Other Duties
Follow Four Seasons grooming and hygiene standards at all times.
Maintain a positive, respectful attitude with colleagues and leadership.
Flexible to work shifts, weekends, holidays, overnight, during cyclone warnings and overtime based on business demands.
Handle all kitchen tools and cleaning agents with care and professionalism.
Safety Requirements
Wear designated PPE (gloves, aprons, non-slip shoes, etc.) at all times.
Ensure all chemicals and cleaning products are safely used and stored.
Participate in safety drills and adhere to fire and emergency procedures.
Keep all kitchen and stewarding areas clear of slip and trip hazards.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understanding of proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
Ability to operate dishwashing machines and cleaning tools safely.
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Basic knowledge of chemical safety and handling procedures.
Team player with strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Secondary education preferred.
Previous stewarding, or housekeeping experience is an asset.
Experience in luxury hotel or resort environment is advantageous.
Willingness to learn and adapt to Four Seasons service culture.
Licenses or Certificates
Food Handler’s certificate (mandatory).
Chemical Handling and Safety Training (preferred).
First Aid or Emergency Response Training (an advantage).
Policies:
All Mandatory trainings on Workday must be completed within three months from the date of hire.
In case on absence, employees must inform their Managers at least one hour before the start of the shift.
Sick Leaves-Original Medical Certificate should be presented whenever applicable. Failing to do so, may result as an absence.
Employees are not permitted to take any hotel equipment home. All items must be stored securely in lockers.
The use of personal mobile phones is restricted in kitchen areas, preparation areas and guest areas. In case of emergency, permission must be obtained from supervisor.
Eating and drinking in the preparation areas are strictly prohibited, to maintain hygiene and food safety standards
GROOMING & UNIFORMS
All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/or required articles of clothing will be explain to you as a part of the orientation process.
NOTICE:
The hospitality business functions seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business, and a hospitable service atmosphere must be always projected.
