Why does this job exist and why is it critical?
The Sales Enablement & Process Excellence Intern will support the optimization and continuous improvement of sales operations processes across Distributor and Direct Sales channels. This role plays a critical part in enhancing operational efficiency, improving process governance, and supporting business productivity through process documentation, data-driven insights, automation initiatives, and operational reporting. The internship provides valuable exposure to sales operations, process excellence, business analytics, automation, and channel enablement within a dynamic and fast-paced telecommunications environment.
What are you accountable for?
Document operational processes and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) by mapping end-to-end workflows across Distributor and Direct Sales channels, including payroll support processes, claims management, reporting cycles, and operational approval processes to enhance process visibility and standardization.
Support process improvement and automation initiatives by identifying repetitive manual activities, conducting process mapping exercises, recommending workflow enhancements, and assisting in the implementation of digital tools and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain operational dashboards, trackers, and reporting tools to provide greater visibility into channel performance, operational productivity, and key business metrics, while ensuring reporting accuracy and consistency.
Perform sales operations analysis by monitoring operational data, identifying trends, bottlenecks, and compliance gaps, and providing actionable recommendations to improve turnaround time, productivity, process effectiveness, and overall operational performance.
Support channel enablement and knowledge management initiatives by creating guidebooks, process manuals, training materials, and knowledge repositories that enhance operational consistency, accelerate onboarding, and improve information accessibility across sales channels.
Who are we looking for?
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Operations Management, or related disciplines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret operational data, identify process inefficiencies, and generate actionable business recommendations.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience in data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development. Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate, and Microsoft Copilot/GenAI tools is an added advantage.
Familiarity with process mapping, workflow documentation, and process improvement methodologies, with an interest in operational excellence and business process optimization.
Demonstrates strong written communication, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
Value-Added Project Opportunity
The intern will have the opportunity to lead a Sales Operations Process Excellence Project aimed at improving operational effectiveness across Distributor and Direct Sales channels.
Project Scope:
Map and document existing operational workflows
Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and repetitive manual activities
Develop SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge repositories
Recommend and support implementation of automation opportunities
Build dashboards and reporting templates to improve operational visibility and decision-making

Additional Information
Internship opportunities are available for candidates who can start in September and able to commit to a 6-month internship period.
