Senior Product Owner Data Platform Consultant

Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Product Owner for a Data Platform. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, bringing your expertise and our values to every engagement.

Role Purpose:

The Data Tribe is at the heart of the client’s data-driven transformation. The mission is to enable business value through data by developing data platforms, analytics, AI solutions, reporting capabilities, and data governance practices across the organization.

As Product Owner of the Data Platform, you will define the vision, roadmap, and priorities for one of the client’s key data assets. Working closely with business stakeholders, platform users, architects, engineers, and colleagues within Personal Finance, you will ensure the platform evolves in line with business needs and strategic priorities.

You will be responsible for translating business needs into product decisions and delivering a clear, prioritized roadmap for the platform. This role combines strategic product thinking with hands-on product ownership, working closely with the Scrum Team to deliver meaningful outcomes for the organization. All responsibilities are carried out under Keystone Solutions’ consultancy model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and maintain the vision, roadmap, and priorities for the Data Platform.
• Ensure product decisions are aligned with business needs and strategic objectives.
• Translate business priorities into clear product outcomes and actionable initiatives.

Stakeholder & User Engagement:

• Engage with business stakeholders, platform users, architects, and delivery teams to understand needs and priorities.
• Facilitate alignment, manage trade-offs, and support informed decision-making.
• Ensure transparent communication on roadmap priorities, progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with central teams and other platform owners to ensure alignment and reuse where relevant.

Product Ownership & Delivery:

• Own and continuously prioritize the Product Backlog.
• Balance business demand, regulatory requirements, platform sustainability, and delivery capacity.
• Work closely with analysts, developers, architects, and the Scrum Team to refine requirements and priorities.
• Validate delivered capabilities and ensure they meet agreed objectives.

Performance & Continuous Improvement:

• Monitor platform adoption, product outcomes, and relevant KPIs.
• Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve the platform.
• Adjust priorities and roadmap based on business needs, usage insights, and delivery learnings.

What Success Looks Like:

• The Data Platform roadmap is clearly defined and supported by key stakeholders.
• Business needs are translated into a transparent and well-prioritized backlog.
• Stakeholders have visibility on priorities, progress, risks, and trade-offs.
• Adoption of the platform has increased through new reporting, analytics, AI, or data governance use cases.
• Product decisions are driven by business priorities, user feedback, and platform data.
• The delivery team works with clear priorities and shared objectives.

Profile:

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Senior Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar product leadership role.
• Experience defining product vision, managing roadmaps, and driving value-based prioritization.
• Exposure to data, analytics, AI, business intelligence, data governance, or related environments.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Skills & Mindset:

• Strong product management and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear priorities and actionable roadmaps.
• Good understanding of data and analytics concepts, enabling effective collaboration with technical teams.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to build alignment across diverse stakeholders.
• Strategic, pragmatic, and comfortable making prioritization decisions in a complex environment.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools such as Octane, Jira, Confluence or Klaxoon.
• Language knowledge: English: fluent, French and Dutch are optional.
