Description
Our client operates at the intersection of corporate, fiduciary and regulatory services, partnering with private equity houses, investment managers and international financial institutions. Backed by long-term institutional investment and an established global brand, the firm is scaling its capabilities, technology and international footprint.
Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their business at the beginning of a major transformation journey. You'll have the autonomy to design the operating model, implement best-in-class processes and influence how Accounts Payable is delivered across an international business.
Key Responsibilities
- Establishing and implementing the global Accounts Payable operating model
- Designing and embedding AP policies, procedures, controls and governance frameworks
- Managing end-to-end AP operations across multiple countries and entities
- Leading process migration and centralisation activities
- Developing reporting, service metrics and performance dashboards
- Driving process improvements and automation opportunities
- Acting as a senior escalation point for complex supplier and stakeholder matters
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business globally
- Directly supervising and developing the AP Assistant, providing day-to-day guidance, coaching and performance management.
- Supporting in recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members as the function grows.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- A proven track record of establishing, centralising, migrating or transforming an AP function
- Experience in supervising an AP function would be preferential
- Able to demonstrate a strong Procure-to-Pay process knowledge
- Experience operating across multiple jurisdictions
- Strong ERP systems experience such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday or similar.
- Business-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- A passion for continuous improvement and building high-performing teams
