Your Team
The Markets Technology team supports and enables technology operations of the Listings and Markets business. The Listings and Markets business is responsible for providing resilient, stable and contemporary trading and clearing platforms and services that support our customers to manage risk effectively and provide investment opportunities in high-quality markets.
Your responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Plan and support the delivery of the technology change across trading, clearing, clearing risk, benchmarks systems. To ensure effective hardware and software asset management.
- Performance Analysis: Define metrics and dashboards (in collaboration with Data Analytics team), analyse data sets and trends to generate insights and inform strategic decision making and streamline / optimise operation of the technology platforms
- Delivery & Change Oversight: Oversee delivery of initiatives and regulatory change. Track milestones, interdependencies, and delivery risk. Ensure alignment to approved scope, funding, and risk tolerances
- Reporting: Manage internal reporting deliverables and presentations including monthly Board reports, Risk management reporting, Regulatory reporting, Board material and other ad hoc requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams and partner with stakeholders across the business and technology to ensure alignment of strategy execution and priorities.
- Communications: Produce high quality and compelling presentation materials and collateral to support business engagement and alignment.
Your experience and qualifications
Must have
- Tertiary qualifications in either project management, strategy, Information Technology or related field.
- 5+ years’ post-graduate experience in technology or financial services
- Proven planning skills and demonstrated experience in developing performance metrics.
- Experience in executive reporting and performance tracking.
- Strong understanding of risk management, governance, controls, and regulated environments
- Strong data analysis skills; ability to synthesize information into clear, actionable insights.
- Excellent facilitation, written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and engage / manage a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Outstanding organisation skills, initiative, curiosity and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities.
- Technology tooling – advanced PowerPoint, excel skills, Power BI (or similar), JIRA, confluence.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Regulatory Obligations, MIR, FSS, CPS
- Exposure to financial-market infrastructure or critical services preferred
