Business disputes. Commercial real estate conflicts. Complex matters that require an attorney who can research, write, argue and show up in court ready to perform at every phase of the process.
This role is for that attorney.
A nationally recognized midsized firm in downtown Bethesda, Maryland is looking for a Litigation Associate with three or more years of experience to join their growing Litigation Practice Group. The firm has been around long enough to have standing client relationships and young enough in its growth to give associates real responsibility.

What you will be doing:
- Handling complex business and commercial real estate litigation from inception through resolution
- Drafting and arguing motions, briefs and pleadings
- Taking and defending depositions
- Representing clients in hearings, mediations and trials
- Conducting legal research and preparing case strategies
- Collaborating with partners and clients throughout all phases of litigation
What you need to bring:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active Maryland Bar admission or ability to obtain admission promptly
- Three or more years of litigation experience preferably in commercial litigation or commercial real estate disputes
- Federal and state court litigation experience
- Strong motions practice, deposition and trial preparation experience
