Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join our Outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) & Mental Health Treatment Center in Waynesboro, PA. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality psychiatric care in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments
- Provide medication management and monitor treatment effectiveness
- Review lab results and monitor therapeutic blood levels
- Prepare discharge documentation, including physician orders and prescriptions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated client care
- Support and guide clinical staff to maintain high standards of care
- Participate in and complete peer review processes
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Board Certified Psychiatrist
- Minimum 2 years of psychiatric practice experience
- Knowledge of:
- Co-occurring disorders and substance use treatment
- Continuous quality improvement practices
- HIPAA regulations, CARF standards, OMH, and DDAP requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in drug and alcohol services
