Supply Chain Planning Senior Analyst

Job Purpose
This role supports the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of end-to-end supply chain planning processes and digital solutions in China. The role partners with business stakeholders, global planning teams, and technology providers to deliver scalable capabilities across platforms such as Kinaxis, Cardinal, OMP, SAP IBP, and other relevant solutions, improving demand-supply alignment, service, inventory, and operational efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities

1.Apply strong supply chain planning functional knowledge to shape and deliver demand, supply, inventory, production, and integrated business planning capabilities across solutions such as Blue Yonder(JDA), Kinaxis, Cardinal, OMP, SAP IBP, and other relevant platforms.

2.Partner with business leaders, planners, product teams, and vendors to discover, challenge, prioritize, and translate business needs into clear process, data, and solution requirements.

3.Lead clear, audience-appropriate communication across local and global stakeholders; facilitate workshops, manage expectations, surface risks, and drive decisions and alignment.

4.Own functional design and validation of end-to-end planning scenarios, including process flows, business rules, planning parameters, master data, integrations, and exception management.

5.Coordinate solution configuration, data readiness, integration, testing, deployment, and adoption with cross-functional teams spanning commercial, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, finance, and data.

6.Drive business testing and value realization by defining scenarios and acceptance criteria, supporting SIT and UAT, resolving defects, monitoring outcomes, and continuously improving solution usability and performance.

7.Build trusted stakeholder relationships and enable adoption through concise training materials, process guides, standard operating procedures, demonstrations, and user support.

8.Explore and apply emerging technologies, including AI, automation, advanced analytics, and data products, to improve forecast quality, planner productivity, decision speed, and planning resilience while aligning global standards with China-specific needs.

9.Operates as part of the China digital transformation team supporting long-term supply chain planning capability development and business value delivery.

10.Focuses on end-to-end planning capabilities and their integration with commercial, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, finance, data, and execution processes.

11.Works with global and local stakeholders, product teams, solution providers, and implementation partners to deliver business outcomes effectively.

12.Reports to the SAP M-P-SO2C-WM/SCP Manager and collaborates with business teams, enterprise and solution architects, data teams, and external vendors.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

1.Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills in English and Mandarin.

2.Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Data and Analytics, or a related field.

3.Strong analytical problem-solving skills, business judgment, and attention to detail.

4.Ability to influence and deliver in a cross-functional, multi-vendor, and global environment; curiosity and passion for AI, automation, and data analytics.

Knowledge/Experience

1.4+ years of experience in supply chain planning, planning transformation, or planning solution delivery, with strong functional knowledge across demand, supply, inventory, production, or integrated business planning.

2.Hands-on understanding of demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, MRP, production planning and scheduling, and planning performance management.

3.Experience with planning data, master data, integrations, data quality, scenario testing, and business validation processes.

4.Experience with one or more planning platforms such as Kinaxis, Cardinal, OMP, SAP IBP, or equivalent; experience with enterprise execution platforms is preferred.

5.Practical experience or demonstrable interest in AI, automation, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision support. Fluent in English and Mandarin.
