Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time X Ray Screening in Wailuku, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener in a government court setting, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by screening visitors and belongings, monitoring access points, and responding to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting court operations. Pre-Employment Requirement: 21+ Years of Age (C101)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to court visitors, judicial staff, attorneys, and other personnel while carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Operate screening equipment and conduct entry screening in accordance with established procedures, directing visitors regarding prohibited items and access requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, maintaining awareness of activity within assigned screening areas and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Complete required logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and in accordance with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
