As an AMO Engineer, you will be fully responsible and accountable for all workshop operations, personnel, assets, processes, procedures, HSE, quality, productivity and KPI performance within the assigned location. The role reports directly to the Regional AMO Leader and is responsible for maintaining Global AMO standards, governance requirements and operational excellence.

 

 

As an AMO Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring compliance with global AMO processes, procedures, standards and governance requirements.
• Managing  workshop HSE and Quality activities and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.
• Managing productivity, cost, manpower utilization, inventory, equipment readiness and operational efficiency.
• Ensuring all maintenance and production activities meet customer expectations and established KPIs.
• Champion Lean, 6S and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
• Developing, coaching and managing workshop personnel while ensuring competency and career progression.
• Coordinating with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and HSE to achieve business objectives.
• Maintaining alignment with Global AMO standards and ensure consistent execution across all workshop activities.
• Escalating operational risks, resource constraints and performance gaps with recovery plans as required.

 

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree in engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Asset Maintenance Operations (AMO), workshop management, manufacturing, maintenance, completions, intervention or related operational environments.
• Being excellent in understanding of HSE, Quality, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously in a global environment
• Display effective problem identification and solution skills
• Be a good team player and display good communication skills with fluency in English
• Be successful at building relationships and collaborating to resolve situations
