Description

NTU Academy for Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) plays a pivotal role in coordinating and uniting efforts across various internal departments and external partners to effectively promote NTU's postgraduate programmes by coursework (PGCs), as well as its lifelong learning initiatives. Beyond the PGCs offered by Schools, Colleges and Institutes, NTU PACE collaborates with these entities to provide interdisciplinary Master of Science programmes, Graduate Certificate and FlexiMasters Certificate courses that can lead to a Master’s degree.

This is a new position for the new hire to work on the new MSc in Enterprise Artificial Intelligence (MSEAI) programme that has 172 students for its new cohort which started in July 2026. The new hire will report to the Assistant Director (IPGC Programme Management and Operations) and will take charge of the running of the MSEAI programme to ensure the delivery of a high-quality learning experience across the suite of inter-disciplinary graduate programmes (IPGC) when working on cross-programmes activities.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Operations

  • Orientation
    • Planning, scheduling, and execution of orientation activities for the programmes, including procurement of orientation items, refreshments, preparation classes and materials, workshops, and teambuilding events.
  • Timetabling of Faculty Scheduling
    • Work closely with Programme Director(s) of each Programme on periodic curriculum review, introduction or removal of courses, and timetabling for each trimester/segment of the Programme.
    • Facilitate more complex operations such as fulfilling track specialisation requirements, tracking cross-listed electives across colleges, and managing different graduation timelines and requests on work practicums and student exchange programmes.
  • Pre-course
    • Provide timely dissemination of course information, materials, and programme announcements to students.
    • Provide academic advice to students in planning their courses and prerequisite requirements for graduation.
    • Perform 100% accurate, error-free course registration for students and submit the data to internal departments.
  • In-course
    • Perform the procurement and delivery of IT/AV services, refreshments, printed or non-printed supplies for the smooth delivery of lessons.

Post-course

  • Comply with the University's assessment and examination policies and input 100% accurate, error-free exam marks into the system for final clearance from faculty members and eventually enable the University's timely release of results to students.
  • Design and distribute various surveys or online exit surveys to students, monitor the rate of responses, and provide analysis of the results to relevant persons.

Student Management

  • Plan the various social and/or professional events organised for the students.
  • Maintain the students' databases to ensure that their details are up-to-date (e.g., updating their personal particulars, filing receipts for their tuition fee payments, notifications of absences from classes, requests for change of courses, etc.).
  • Monitor each student's academic progression closely to ensure that students may complete all graduation requirements within the candidature period.

Reporting/Finance

  • Assist in gathering and analysing data to support IPGC’s participation in various surveys conducted by NTU or external parties.
  • Support the finance department in the timely collection of tuition fees before the start of the trimester/segment and facilitate prompt vendor payments.

Managing Student Leaders

  • Assist in planning a set of Administration Rules for leadership points awarded to student leaders.
  • Oversee student leadership certification responsibilities.
  • Work closely with the IPGC student leaders on Student Body engagement activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business or related areas.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience in administration or education programme management.
  • Strong ability to acquire and apply knowledge of the University's academic policies and regulations, as well as academic programmes offerings and structures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Problem-solving and collaborative skills.
  • Ability to exercise judgment and to work under pressure, with competing deadlines and priorities.
