At S&W Foods, our Night Order Selectors play a critical role in preparing customer orders for delivery by accurately selecting, stacking, wrapping, and loading products throughout the warehouse. This position helps ensure customers receive complete and accurate orders while supporting efficient overnight warehouse operations. What You'll Own as a Night Order Selector at S&W Foods

You will be responsible for accurately selecting customer orders, safely operating warehouse equipment, and preparing pallets for shipment while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.  

• Order Selection & Accuracy: Locate, select, and  accurately stack cases according to customer orders while maintaining      quality and productivity standards. 
• Warehouse Equipment Operation: Safely operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks to transport products and pallets throughout the warehouse.  
• Pallet Building & Wrapping: Build stable pallets and properly wrap products to ensure safe handling and transportation.  
• Truck Loading Support: Load completed pallets onto outbound delivery trucks and ensure products are positioned correctly      for shipment. 
• Safety & Compliance: Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment while performing      warehouse activities.  
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with warehouse team members while maintaining the ability to work independently      and stay self-motivated. 
• Operational Support: Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned to support nightly operational goals and customer service expectations.

To Achieve This, You Will Most Likely Have

• Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately select products and build customer orders with minimal errors. 
• Equipment Operation Skills: Experience operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, stand-up reach trucks, and other      warehouse equipment. 
• Safety Mindset: Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company procedures. 
• Communication & Teamwork: Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team environment. 
• Self-Motivation & Reliability: Demonstrated ability to work independently, report to work on time, and maintain strong      attendance. 
• Fast-Paced Work Ability: Ability to perform efficiently in a busy warehouse environment while maintaining accuracy and      productivity. 

Bonus Skills!

Experience working in a warehouse environment, operating RF scanners, and handling material-moving equipment will help you make an immediate impact in this role. Candidates with foodservice distribution experience are especially encouraged to apply. 

Education & Experience

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• Previous warehouse experience preferred. 
• Experience using RF scanners preferred. 
• Must successfully pass a drug and alcohol screening. 

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to routinely lift and move products weighing 40-60 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. 
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and work open-ended shifts until nightly work is completed. 
• Ability to work in cold warehouse environments and withstand cold temperatures.
