Description
Company Overview:
After brain surgery, the bone or implant that closes the skull blocks ultrasound, so monitoring a patient’s recovery has meant repeat CT and MRI — with the radiation exposure, transport, and cost that come with them. Longeviti Neuro Solutions, a Baltimore-based neurotechnology company, solves that with ClearFit®, a clear, sonolucent PMMA cranial implant that lets surgeons see neuroanatomy through the implant in the OR and image the brain by ultrasound afterward, at the bedside or in clinic. Since 2018 the company has brought several FDA 510(k)-cleared implants to market, including a clearance acknowledging post-operative ultrasound imaging, and ClearFit carries a dedicated CMS new technology code that supports hospital reimbursement. In 2026 Longeviti launched ClearFit AI™, a Brain Ultrasound Interface platform pairing its implants with AI-assisted ultrasound.
Job Overview:
Longeviti is seeking a motivated Medical Device Sales Representative to own the Washington D.C. Metro territory. This full-time role combines lead generation, account management, customer service, and direct engagement with neurosurgeons and clinical staff in hospital, operating room, ICU, and clinic environments. The successful candidate will build trusted relationships, communicate clinical and economic product benefits, and work collaboratively with sales leadership to achieve territory goals.
The territory is already anchored by established accounts — Georgetown is live, Walter Reed is approved, and NIH is in progress — with several other D.C. hospitals untouched. The Representative will farm existing accounts for revenue while hunting new hospitals and growing utilization within approved accounts, building a business plan with leadership and running the territory like their own franchise.
Products:
-
ClearFit® Custom Cranial Implant — Patient-specific PMMA cranioplasty implant designed from the patient’s CT using 3D printing and CAD/CAM; FDA 510(k)-cleared (Class II) to correct and restore bony voids and defects of the cranium.
-
ClearFit® OTS (Off-the-Shelf) — FDA 510(k)-cleared in 2021 as the first optically clear, off-the-shelf PMMA cranial product, used for burr holes, craniotomies, shunts, aneurysm clipping windows, and bypass cases.
-
Post-Operative Ultrasound — A separate FDA 510(k) clearance acknowledges ClearFit’s use for post-operative ultrasound imaging, enabling bedside and in-clinic monitoring that can reduce repeat CT scans and radiation exposure.
-
Reimbursement — CMS has granted ClearFit a new technology code (XNR89D); when a sonolucent implant is documented to evaluate hydrocephalus, a shunt case can move to a higher-reimbursing DRG.
-
ClearFit AI™ Brain Ultrasound Interface — Launched in 2026, the platform combines ClearFit sonolucent implants with AI-assisted ultrasound imaging optimization on Clarius units, creating a persistent post-operative window to the brain.
