Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a College in Roxbury MA

Saturday and Sunday 7 AM - 3 PM 

Starting Pay is $24.00 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

Candidate Must be 21+ Years Old

As an unarmed Security Officer at an educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and potential hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate professionally with campus stakeholders and responding emergency services as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
