Description
The Embassy of India in Berlin is inviting applications for hiring of a Local Clerk
## Tasks
- Assisting with matters related to the Indian community.
- Translating documents (German–English and English–German) and providing interpretation support as required.
- Researching, sourcing, and compiling information from open sources.
- Planning, organizing, and executing events hosted by the Mission.
- Performing general office duties, including filing, maintaining records, and ensuring timely updates.
- Undertaking any other tasks as assigned.
## Requirements
**_Essential Qualifications:_**
1\. Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent vocational qualification.
2\. Language Proficiency:
- Desirable proficiency in German (B2 Level).
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
3\. Residence Status:
- German / EU / Indian citizen (with valid work and residence permit).
- Student visa holders are not eligible to apply.
4\. Computer & IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office; basic understanding of computer hardware is desirable.
5\. Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience is desirable.
6\. Age: Between 21 and 35 years.

- Analytical and structured working style with high reliability and proactive attitude.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and manage increased workloads effectively.

## Benefits
**_Salary (EUR)_**
€3,471 per month (gross)
- The Embassy will pay the employer share of the German Social Security package.
- The remuneration package includes statutory leave benefits.
